UPDATE

hey girls, there was a little progress last night so the doc was able to do a sweep this morn which has helped the plug come away a bit more. She says she could feel babies head and is confident they will be able to break my waters this afternoon .

Just waiting on a room in labour ward to become free and we will be moved down. Keep ur fingers crossed for me (please) that it will happen before 1 xx

Thanks v much for the good wishes. I hope we are holding our bundle soon also - I can't wait to find out the sex/weight.

Unfortunately the induction is not going to plan at all. I was given a further sweep by the midwife this morning at 9.30am and advised that we would be moved to labour ward sometime after lunch however it's been one emergency after the next and as such we r still on our normal ward. The midwife has just been in and she's said that I WILL NOT be offered a section before they try to break my waters so I've to have dinner now, hope for the best tonight and of nothing else then I suppose wait until tomorrow .

I'm absolutely gutted to be honest and getting more emotional by the minute. I thought maybe we would be holding baby by now but it looks like it will be another 24hrs. Im heartbroken.
