Officially Glowing - 20 Week Scan Tomorrow

Thanks I'll have a look into Freederm. I have suffered with hormonal acne all my life & was taking Dianette before which kept my skin really clear. Unfortunately because I've been taking it since I was 15 & it's a contraceptive I had to stop taking it for medical reasons & to TTC.
Once I've had our little one I will see how my skin is & if it's still awful will go back to my skin specialist & get something like Erythromycin which is supposed to be good. Just don't want to end up being a spotty pensioner! It's really depressing to be honest, but my hubby is a star & loves me just the way I am.

Noooo you were not being too sensitive - my god I wonder sometimes if some men think at all lol tbh my Dad is the same....we have not spoken in over a week because of him being insensitive and claiming it's all my fault because I am hormonal!

Sunny I suffered with a few spots in the early stages and used clearasil exfoliating facewash and got a little facial exfoliating pad - helped loads!

EDIT : Ahhh just read that the problem is not only pregnancy related...I don't think my tips will help much sorry hun xx

Sunny, Yeah Erythromycin is great as an anti-biotic but there are far more on the market these days for severe acne so worth shopping around when you requesting something at the doctors hun..... Freederm is around £10 from the chemist but lasts for ages, have had the same tube for about a year now.

Miss, claiming it is your fault because you are hormonal lol I would of been raging even more if that was said to me, at least being pregnant you can get away for the way you can behave.... MEN Grrrrrrr

Have booked the day off but will text you after the drive back home, not worth taking 2 cars in for a 70 miles rouund trip huh so I get the chance to put my feet up for a bit tomorrow afternoon (Bailey permitting lol). Go team, ummm whatever you are wee beany.

Just over 2 weeks then, make sure you post your pics hun. Yes we are wanting to find out, don't want to keep on referring to it has a him unless it is lol. Where are you going for your scan, place in Aberdeen?

Still no glow here lol, look and feel crap atm, though have been full of cold so may feel less like sleeping 24/7 when that goes away.

Sunnyb - I took Dianette for years for my skin and while it's normally ok-ish, it's awful at the mo and am getting spots on my lower face and neck even, totally sucks. Make up doesn't really help either, so I feel your pain!

Well for those who texted about the scan thanks so much.... yes scan happened and am somewhat relived that things are all fine and dandy, although trying to work out why some measurements are putting me back in dates and one putting me forward a day.... confusing or strange shaped baby lol. Also because the cord was in the way of babys privates after much jigging around still couldn't get it moved so not able to tell the sex, tbh quite gutted about it so am having to be team yellow x

Gutted for you hunny - but at least everything with baby is well. Maybe baby is gonna have little legs or whatever and thats why mesurements don't add up

Will have to start conducting tests from old wives tales etc.....do you know people pee in cabbage water? WTF???
