Off to NCT tonight...

Well ive decided to gate crash the NCT mums with bumps meeting tonight. I think i can just turn up and pay a small donation. Well thats what it says on the website. Ive done lots of things on my own (voluntary work) and dont usually get nervous but i am for some reason..

How did it go..........you had me researching NCT meets and classes in my area (I had never heard of them before ).

Were there lots of bumps there, or mainly younger children and babies?

Well i went along and there were only 3 others there. It was really nice though. very informal. One lady was due in a month and the other was just 3 weeks ahead of me. She had also moved to the area so didnt know many people. You didnt have to be a member and just had to give a small donation for the cake you had. I will definately be going next month.

They also do other meets during the day (for when you have given up work) and then there are other ones for when you have had the baby (they also have guest speakers). They also do coffee morning type things but my house is so small i think i will pass on that one. The lady in charge did mention that some groups were a little clicky but i suppose thats what you get when you put a bunch of woman together! As long as you stay out of it im sure it'll be fine.

Defnately glad i went along.. oh and the lady that was running it said she was in labour for 16 hours and was fine.. only had paracetamol and a bath to get through it.. now they are the stories i DO like!
