just got back from my gp appointment and my bp is up again 
off to the day assessment unit for the afternoon to have it monitored.

well, my bp is still up... and although i personally don't think that its that big a deal as i'm asymptomatic otherwise, the consultant thinks that its high enough to warrant my induction
i've had a sweep and although my cervix was closed, it was favourable - hopefully it won't take too much to get things going...
am slightly freaked out at the moment! have just come home to get my brain together and make sure that i've got everything packed. and i have to call the labour ward in a bit to see if they can fit me in tonight. if they can't then i have to be admitted to antenatal overnight to be monitored, then be induced tomorrow, all being well.

so my maternity unit birth is completely out of the window, which i'm gutted about. but i'm trying to keep positive - i just can't believe that i'm actually having a baby - it doesn't seem real!
