Hiya ladies,
Got to hospital last night and they examined me and did the usual checks, then they strapped me to a monitor for 2 hours

As soon as i was on it she started to wake up

The midwife looking after me was really lovely and she just said that she was probably having a really lazy day because she was really active the day before. When the doctor came in to have a look at the trace she said her heartbeat was faster than normal ( 150-180) and when my own midwife checked it wednesday it was 175 then so she said that its probably normal for her. I have to go back into the ward today (sunday) in th afternoon for another monitoring session just to be on the safe side which i dont mind as its all reassuring stuff but at the time all you want is to know that your baby is ok. Got to have GTT test on wednesday at half 8 in the morning and back AGAIN

on thursday morning for a growth scan and possibly another trace on the monitor,
Im really glad they are keeping an eye on me as it stops me from worrying and making my bp go up. But the one thing that really bought it home to me how real and close this is getting is that there was a woman in the next room on the delivery suite screaming her head off, it kind of made me cringe thinking that will be me in a few weeks, then 5 minutes later you heard the baby's newborn screams, it made me cry and want my baby here now!!

It was a really beautiful moment

,
Anyway sorry its a bit long winded, i will keep you all posted as to how today goes and the best of luck to you all with your preggers and your bubs, loadsa love, kaye, ben and lee.xxx
