The in-laws bought us a travel system from Mothercare when I was about 3 months pg. It's lovely - black and red, so neutral. Well, with having a car, I use the carseat every day, and rarely use the pushchair.

But when I do, if I go any faster than a snails pace, the front wheels look like they are going to fall off! They rattle so much I'm scared to use it.

So we're going back today with it. Luckily, if you are pg when you buy it, they ask you for your due date and that's when the guarantee runs from. So we're not even 3 months into the 12 month guarantee.

Wish me luck!

GOOD LUCK I'm sure they should be okay about it, its a manufacturer fault isn't it, so I'm sure they shouldn't quibble with you - its not like you're asking for a refund cos you've changed your mind.

I hope they just swap it over for you

Good Luck...Mothercare can be arses over refunds and stuff, but hopefully that should be straightforward.

just wanted to say good luck, let us know how you got on :D

GOOD LUCK!!

I had loads of trouble with Motercare bottles. The measurements kept rubbing off the bottles.
I returned about 4 lots in the end. They're very arsey but if you speak to management you tend to get what you want in the end

Funnily enough after telling me I am the only one having this problem with the bottles I noticed about 6 weeks ago they no longer do the bottles and have brought in a new range  :moon:

Well thats b*****s because i had exactly the same problem!!!!
And their variflow teats were rubbish as well

Changed to tommee tippee in the end

Yeah Jo I know a few people who have had this problem.

The ones I got when she was newborn had the measurements moulded into the bottle but when I replaced them at 6mths the measurements were just printed on so kept rubbing off!! I was even sterilising them in the Mothercare Steam Steriliser and they tried to blame that too!!

Idiots :x

God their sterilisers :wall: I had 2 before I gave up and switched to Avent. We had the same with the M'care bottles too, not that we used them long!
Amanda (still keep going to say Tankett!), sounds like you have the same travel system as us guessing from when you bought it and the description, and luckily we have had no problems with it. 2 of my mates work for Mothercare (one being a store manager) so luckily we haven't had any problems returning things.

Good luck!!!
