October 2017 mummies :-)

Aww the little hand and the tummy are too sweet! Glad all went well with your scan flick x

Hi ladies, sorry I've been out for a little bit. Work is manic at the mo and I am getting fed up with it. Got to prepare for a massive brief I have to give on Tuesday and I really cant be bothered at all.

Great news on the scan flick and an excellent pic. Hopefully the placenta will shift later.
The carpal tunnel sounds rubbish. I've only woken up with a dead leg once when my cat slept against me and stopped me from rolling over so I ended up on my back.
I definitely have a bump now. Feeling really bloated and stretched today. I also feel really uncomfortably full if I eat too much (well, not even a lot, I had it after a sandwich today!) guessing its due to space being squeezed. I am also sure I am feeling the baby now. I get the odd prod really low down a few times a day and I know its not gas! x

Aww, flick, your scan pic is amazing! And a bonus scan - result!
X

I still find it hard to think that after our 20 week scans, we don't see baby until they're born unless we book private scans or medically require more scans. Seems too long without check everything is ok. How many of you have had or booked private scans? How much on average did they cost? Money is tight at the moment and really not sure if I should spend the money on a private scan around 30 weeks or not :(

just catching up and lovely to see more scan photos.
My scan is next week.
I had the gender scan and I think around here your cheapest scan is about £75 but have a search in your area as the one I went to does special offers and just now has a scan for £44 x
Hope you all have a lovely Friday..... I hate Fridays they are my long day leave at 6.40am and not back home until about 7.50pm

I am the same, the thought that it would be 20 weeks without any proof that all is fine is daunting. Although I now have the 'bonus' scan I am still going to take the kids for a private one at about 28 weeks as I want them as involved as possible. I don't know where you are but I am in the west midlands and there is a place called peek-a-baby and they do scans for £45 x

Thanks all, was so good seeing him and he was having a right good jiggle and thankfully I could see that it is him that I am feeling and not gas, his head is right behind my belly button so he pushes up which is causing me discomfort!

I am also feeling so bloated after food, even just small amounts and am struggling with heartburn and indigestion, feeling really odd today, got a pain in my rib cage and just feel like I want to lie on my back and not be hunched over or sitting in a chair all day :( roll on the weekend xx

Here private scans are expensive as well, over 24 weeks the cheapest is £89. I should really start saving as I have so many things to buy for the baby so I do not know if I will have another private scan.

Earlier I was checking out Argos website they have a baby event and have seen some half price things which I should buy in the future for my little one.

Lots of pain in my rib cage yesterday as well :( , I thought they will break. Today woke up just with a sharp pain in left ab , better now anyway. Good thing is that pains don't last too long.

Can't wait for this day to be over, everyone telling me how tired I look, doooohhh I am really tired, seems like I haven't slept at all and I am so grumpy. I'll probably feel better when I finish work.

Have a lovely weekend, praying for some sun after 3 days of rain

x

Another member of Team Blue! Congratulations!

Was going to say keep an eye on Groupon as they often do baby scans but also newborn photos shoots etc as well x

Try window to the womb and search online for a discount code, I only paid £44 for my private scan.

Does anyone get a weird pressure feeling for a few minutes in their tummy?

It is almost like the baby is moving around and it feels odd!

Keep feeling kicks now :) so exciting!

Aww, congratulations Redbear!

Yesterday I saw him rolling from one side to the other one of my tummy but didn't felt a thing! I feel kicks though and some other weird movements .Can't wait for the movements to get stronger

Yeah another one adding to team blue.
I think we have now come up with our name for our boy and one that we both agree on :)

Excellent news Redbear, and well done on the name decision Heather. I've not even begun thinking.

I can feel my baby moving from the outside tonight, its amazing. I'm just lying here with a massive grin on my face x

Ladybugs I get the same pressure....it's slightly uncomfortable and I'm unsure what it is? I read somewhere that braxton hicks can sometimes be pressure rather than pain? I have no experience of this as I'm a FTM will mention it to midwife on Monday.

Flick I also get full up on so little and am suffering with awful heartburn and indigestion. I do believe it has something to do with the baby/uterus pushing up onto organs?

I will look into the scans and have a talk with OH and we shall see. So excited to see little one again :D but I know I'll be feeling sad knowing if all is well then no extra scans....felt like the 12 week scan was forever ago!

Hope you all have lovely weekends.

I'm kind of really pleased I don't have to think of another girls name because with two already I've used the ones I like. Although the husband wanted Artimus for a girl. I think we have our boys name we picked it before ttc it's Vincent although not set in stone yet. My husband's grandad wad Harry Vincent but with the accent it would be arry and it's really popular. Xx

Sounds great. So lovely for you to get a boy.

I have just booked a private gender scan for when I'm 22 weeks. My husband will be back on RnR so it means he gets to see the baby and we can double check its a girl! And any excuse for me to get to see her again! I was pleasantly surprised by the cost. Its at a Mothercare near to us and its a 15 minute 2&4D scan, with pics, gender check (and chance for a free rebook if they cant see) for £59. We've booked it for the morning we go on holiday as its en route. So excited. Only 17 days til I can see her again!x

Oh, that is so nice Amy, to be able to see it again with your husband .

I have so name chosen but we are thinking for de second one.

My baby is mot moving much lately, do you think I should call someone or wait...? The scan can't come fast enough....
