October 2017 mummies :-)

Flick ,this sounds horrendous. Sorry you had such a bad time with first pregnancy, hopefully this time will get better? I get as well my feet swollen after a day of sitting at the office. Basically by the time I get home my legs are double. I retain water as does my mum and my sister , so it is something genetic for me. Sometimes I am afraid that by the time of my due date I will look like a balloon ( a petite one, even worse!).

So many pregnant colleagues in the company, it is crazy! Like 5 boys and two girls already :D

I fell so tired at work, feel like all I want is go home and cry...

Awesome bumps ladies.
I decided on the U shaped one as I move around a lot in my sleep so didn't want to have to move a pillow from side to side. I thought that was more likely to wake me up, and my OH when he's home (like I really care!). I love it and it was so comfortable. With me in it we're about the width of a single bed, only pain is getting out of it for a wee, but its so comfortable to rest a leg on or wrap it round. It was £37.99 from Amazon, a company called Sanggol.

Anyway rejoice ladies, for I have finally found maternity skinny jeans that fit (may be being slightly over dramatic but I am so happy). My asos jeans are amazing. Stupidly while I would normally order a size 8 for maternity jeans I had to go for a 6! I got over and under the bump and both are great. Digital- they are the Ridley skinny jean and I recommend. x

Great bump pics! Amy am so happy for you on the skinny jeans, it is so important to find something comfy, when am not out I live in my comfy slouch pants but when out I have found a nice pair of over the bump jeans, am not a fan of anything under the bump, doesn't feel comfy to me!

Hope we are all ok today, thank crunchie it is Friday once again, another week done and a scan next week, so as of wednesday I will be half way through! Can't ruddy believe it! Just hope all is ok at the scan :) xx

Yey, so exciting we are going to have our 20 week scans and we are almost half way! Mine will be late as usual, almost 3 weeks left.

For me is very difficult to buy jeans or trousers online as not much fits me right. My jeans now are with elastic band up to half bump and they go under which is annoying so this week-end I will go to look for one pair over the bump .

So happy it is finally Friday !

You all look amazing :) I still don't look pregnant to a normal person!

My feet and ankles have been bad the last few days, they are huge, painful and now I am getting pins and needles in my legs. Midwife keeps saying its fine but might go to the doctors and check with them.

Happy Friday all! Yay to everyone who is nearly at their 20 week scan!

I'm craving prawn crackers so looks like I'm having Chinese tonight

All I want is unhealthily stuff - this is going to hurt at the end when I'm left with all the excess weight!

Dud anyone else see about the NHS hacking? Completely selfish, but my 20 week scan is on Tuesday, and I think I'm going to lose my shit if they cancel it, lol! I don't think my nhs trust is affected, but I'm sure it will delay them in some way....

I keep reading the May mummies thread in third tri, it's so exciting seeing all the babies coming - I can't wait till it's this threads turn!
xxx

I've got my scan on Tuesday too, but I'll be 19w 1d. Starting to getting that nervous feeling that comes before these appointments. No reason for it, but its there again.

Keep wondering if I can feel the baby or not. Had a little bit of popping and felt a few pushes really low down on the left, but I'm not sure. Its my first baby so I'm expecting that it could take another few weeks.

Really hope all is ok on Tuesday and the baby is playing ball so they can tell me the gender. x

Snap I'm hooked on the may mummies at the moment can't wait for it to be out thread.
Got backache from hell today just can't get comfy! Must be a growth spurt going on in there!!
Hope you have had a lovely Saturday xx

God, I'm watching one born every minute, the episode on demand from 2 weeks ago, and there is a woman who lost her baby the day of the 20 week scan - it's so sad...of all the episodes I watched, it had to be this one....x

I know, that was heartbreaking. There just doesn't seem to be a point where you can relax and think everything will be ok.

I'm watching Eurovision. Its very odd, especially watching it and not playing some kind of Eurovision drinking game. I think it needs booze!

Lol, sober Eurovision just emphasises how bad everyone is!

I'm starting to get slightly annoyed/worried about how my bump appears to have vanished by the morning. I keep telling myself I've not properly 'popped' yet but I'm getting frustrated, esp as I'm not sure if I'm actually feeling anything.

I'm relieved I have a scan on Tuesday as I need the reassurance. I'm trying not to think about it too much but its difficult. Urgh x
