*** October 2015 Mummies ***

Hi ladies how are we all feeling today? Im feeling ok this morning so hoping for a good day with minimal sickness but we shall see! I have my second scan this afternoon. Very nervous again. Im 9 weeks tomorrow so hopefully if all is ok I should see a more baby like image. Just a bit worried as hubby might not be able to get there in time cos of work.

Ladies when can I expect to start feeling better? Does the placenta take over about now? (9Weeks? )

Sorry you feel sick, it sucks!!! :hugs: Here's what I read about placenta taking over : 'Between weeks 6-9 of pregnancy, the placenta takes over from the ovariesas the main producer of progesterone''. It seems right for me as I started feeling better from end of week 6.

Good luck with the scan, so lucky to see the little baby again :) x

Final probation meeting at work today! eeek! I feel so deceitful not telling them! but it is still such early days!

Hope you all have a good day :)

Me again!

My booking in appointment has been booked for 3rd March, is that too early? I will only be 6 weeks...?

Good luck mumagain, different areas seem to vary what they do in terms of pregnancy services. Near me it's usually between 8 and 10 weeks. They used to do a home visit but now it's at their office!

mumagain, I had my 1st app at 5 weeks and they booked me in for 2nd at 9 weeks. You will probably be asked lots of health questions and get all the paperwork in order for your next appointment. That also means you will get your 12 week scan letter sooner :)

I would love to have a appt at 6 weeks, I always think its early on you have the most insecurities and questions etc, plus be good to have blood tests now. I registered on Monday so just waiting on a letter, i think they send me my appt for 8 week check and 12 week scan at the same time!

Thanks hun! Really hope the placenta starts doing its job soon lol!

Mumagain, My booking appt is on Tuesday when I will be 9+4 but could have been earlier they just didn't have any appts left.

To be absolutely honest I felt like my 1st appointment was more for the midwife's benefit than mine... We didn't chat about the pregnancy, my worries, what is/will be happening to my body in the next few weeks. All we did was paperwork and she explained how the appointments will work.

Oh God I hope my booking appt is a bit more for 'me' as I have many worries!

Fingers crossed! Let us know how it went x

Lol ladies! I know how it feels to want symptoms but honestly this sickness is awful! I am in tears most days with it.

Just setting off to drop my daughter off before my scan. Nerves are not good for sickness!

I'm pretty sure in a week I won't be cheering about stopping traffic lol but today it felt like a win even though only me and the dog being walked nearby shared that feeling, everyone else hubby included were horrified!!! Lol but trust me I owned it no apologies just a wipe of the mouth and back in the car like nothing had happened ha ha!!! The benefit of a previous HG pregnancy, I even had freezerbags in the car ready just in case!
