*** October 2015 Mummies ***

Scan day today! I feel like I'm suppressing-ly bricking it, it trying to be all calm but have butterflies in my tummy! It's not until half 2 so going in the middle of work...will update this evening. Have a good day ladies x

ooh I didn't realise about that...I've had all my bloods done at booking in at 8/9 weeks

Fingers crossed for you staceymo! I had those butterflies yesterday - so I know them well ;) I am sure all will be fine, and you will be grinning like mad for the rest of the day!

I don't know if it's been changed in the UK too - just thought I'd mention it. The new guidelines came into effect late last year here in Norway.

I think theyre quite needle happy over here
Theyd take your bloods every week without any thought lol
I'll have mine done 4-6weekly regardless due to my underactive thyroid but had i not then I'd have got it at my booking in appt regardless then again at the 16w appt with the MW x

I have had all my bloods done, I don't think it is in the UK yet...

Good luck Georgesmum, hope you're feeling better from the sickness at the start.

Petchy - GO YOU! no sickness for 3 days yipeee! :)

Staceymo - Good luck, I think nothing wrong with a little adrenaline to get the baby jumping about on the scan. Have fun seeing your little one today :)

As for me, I am a balloon! I feel huge (bloated) and I can't face food as such, I seem to only want to eat fruit and drink water, of course I am not complaining, but this is the last time I have the excuse to stuff my face! and I just can't hahaha

Have a lovely Friday everyone :)

No excuse to stuff your face until last 3 months mumagain as you don't need to eat for 2 until then lol

Lol - oh but the excuse is such a good one hahaha - I have been a Weight Watchers leader for years, so have all the hints and tips instilled in me, think that is why I am craving fruit and water, it is my sub concious reminding me how bloomin difficult it is to loose the weight afterwards :)

It is indeed. And we will have winter babies so it's straight into warm hearty food staying indoors
None of this taking the pram out long walks in the sunshine malark!

I think us norwegians have a slightly different take on taking winter babies out for long walks. I have already got the big fat down sleeping bag ready  Babies here often take their naps outside in the pram too (in winter also!)

We've got this to use in the pram for winter:

Haha amazing petchy

Here they barely grit roads never mind the pavements
I dunno if id trust going out!

Its more icy
We seldom get snow
Itd have nothing to grip on
Lots of black ice patches
I do like the sparkly ground and the crunchy noise when walking on frosty grass!

They work on ice too - it's mainly icy here too. I even go RUNNING with mine on icy roads :)

Brilliant Petchy - I love the footmuff, looks lovely and snuggly! I think if we had snow instead of ice cold windy rain we might do the same thing here. I think it will be back to pounding the "dreadmill" again for my exercise and little walks between rainstorms for this little bean :)

Staceymo it's the big day today! Can't wait to see the update from you :)

So... the gender scan is booked! It's really Just an excuse to see the baby again  Booked for 25th April when the baby is nearly 17 weeks, hope they can tell us the correct gender being this early! 29 days to go!!
