Good luck with scans today ladies!!

V Day today :) yay!! At times I feel like the pregnancy is dragging then I realised there is only 16 weeks left and realise that time is flying!

Have my second Hypnobirthing class today, so happy to only be working this morning as sitting in the car all day is killing me slowly! I have awful back pain, and a sore coccyx and the past week my crotch area has got very painful, I am waddling like a duck, not the best of looks! xxx
 
Good luck in your scans and re scan girls, let's hope all the babies will behave for you all :lol:

I will be sorting out my maternity leave at work after I have my midwife appointment on the 2nd July. I will have so much holiday to use up, I will be having a months holiday and 1 bank holiday day left to use up before my maternity leave and what ever holiday I will be owing from march to October next year and next years bank holidays . So depending on how I can manage I will just take this years owing holiday before my maternity leave so I will leave a month before my due date.
 
blimey i had forgotten about the bank holidays! I'm also taking all my holiday before my maternity so that it can start bang on when I'm due really....but now I'm going to have to re-do it i think to work in Bank hols! DOH! lol

Good luck with scans today ladies :) so exciting! can't wait to see more scan pics we haven't seen some for a while! xx

Happy V day Coach, Susan and Steffy!!!

We had our re-scan today and little monkey was nicely asleep not on the right side thou, but we managed to check everything we needed so looks like all good with our little man, now just to wait for 4D scan in July :)

But the way to hospital was very eventful ... when we were on the street parrarel to hospital we saw a man collapsing on the street, so we just stopped the car and ran to him, it looks like he had epileptic fit and he or bit his tongue or injured himself while falling as there was a bit of a mess around... fortunately he couldn't have his fit in better place as in matter of minutes there was a nurse going to hospital to start her shift and then junior doctor on her way as well... so we were happy to leave him in capable hands of NHS staff while waiting for ambulance. and it looks like my OH's usless purchase at the time of 2 picnic blankets wasn't that useless as we are now how only one. Good deed of the day done. But it was quite shaky start of the day...
 
A www Kat so pleased your re scan went well ,and look and you and your OH to the rescue , it was a good job you both was there poor bloke , it was a good job it happened right near the hospital too . I bet it took your mind off of the scan though.
Maybe this weekend you both should go on a lovely picnic and make good use of the other blanket :-). Xxx
 
Bet that woke you and OH up KatB!! It's nice to help people but it is also nice when you can hand it over to medical staff!! I used to work in a pharmacy and a woman came in one day and asked me to look after her 1yo for a min while she had a seizure. I was a bit like 'errr WTF' as we had some strange people in that area but sure enough she sat down on one of our chairs and a few mins later she was having a seizure. After she recovered she just went back to what ever she was doing before and left me and the Pharmacist a bit baffled lol

I've had a rubbish day so far, my car broke down halfway to taking it to the garage as it's been playing up a bit so I had to call OH. He came and phoned the AA who have had to tow it to the garage :-( luckily it was payday yesterday but so annoying! Hope everyone else has a good day! xx
 
A www Steffy, I've had car issues this week too, I've had to use the bus all week. I just hate being without a car, when you haven't got your car you realise how much you rely on it :-( I hope you get it fixed soon. Xxxxx
 
oh wow Susan I bet this was one of the weirdest situation I have heard, but one of the girls at my work got epilepsy and she always know when it is coming. So I bet this women just picked the safest place for her daughter so she can just have her fit. Still surreal experience for you and other staff.

Steffy what a day, it is not even Friday the 13th yet!

Claire we managed some pictures :) came back home with 2 :) general whole body and high five for daddy! At least we know our son got 5 fingers ;)

Cute pics! I am very reliant on a car as where we live is so remote there are not any buses for 5 miles, byt luckily I can used OH's truck and he can borrow a farm one :-) xx
 
Aww Steffy I hope it doesn't cost too much to fix the car!! *touch wood* we have been very lucky with our car the past 6 months (since MIL stopped taking it when her car breaks down) and haven't had any issues. Mot, insurance and tax all coming out in aug tho :(. When it comes to bills for the car it never rains but pours for everyone I find.

Yeah KatB it was rather strange, just me and the pharmacist as our other staff member was on his lunch and out of the store. The little one was a wee star though, I just played with her with some of the things we had on a display and she was happy enough and didn't seem to notice mummy's seizure. Awesome scan pics you have and I am really loving the high five haha. I was thinking today its 4 weeks tomorrow since we had our 20 week scan, :( I am wishing time away to get to see my little one again.

My DH got news last week that he won his court case for visitation to his son so starting tomorrow we have the little man (4yo) from friday 6pm to sunday 6pm. From the last court date we were getting him sat 10am-sun5pm so we could never do anything with him. Now the court case is pretty much over (unless she is stupid enough to try and fight it in which case she will lose more as the Judge has ruled completly in favour of DH as all her claims were proven false and also she done nothing the Judge asked her) we want to tell the little man that he is going to be a big brother again ( his mother has a 6mo). Anyone have any suggestions or advice on how we can do this? xx
 
Had my can and all is measuring up good so I am sooo pleased :) did get photos but none of them are that clear but I am not fussy just happy all is well and confirmed 100% boy
 
Good to hear your boy is cooking nicely Heather!
I can wait for another scan this time 4D... I am so curious how my little man looks like, but we have strange suspiocion that he may have his dad forehead ;)

The heat is really getting to me already :( I felt weak last night, had headache and generally felt like shit. Then I was sick this morning. Really need to adjust to pregnancy and the heat quickly else I'm going to wilt! I usually love the hot weather but not at the min. On a more positive note its nearly the weekend :)
 
Congrats to those who have reached V day, it's so nice to hit another milestone as it seems like that's kind of it after your 20 week scan. I don't even see my midwife again until the end of July!

This baby seems to be a right wriggle bum, unlike it's brother who was happy to sleep all day. Last night I led in bed and just watched my tummy going up and down where bubs was turning and kicking :)

I think my plan this evening is to sit and write a list of what I need/need to do before the baby arrives. Where I haven't had to buy a lot of the big things I've been quite lazy and if I'm not careful I'll have a mad rush at the end! xxx
 
Morning ladies, sorry I haven't been on in a couple of weeks as was on holiday and then this week back at work has been crazily busy, I'm so tired so just want to chill this weekend, need another holiday now :-)

Congrats on all the scans and everyone that's reached V day, I can't believe I'll be there next week, such a huge milestone for me after 4 years of trying, 1 ivf and 1 frozen cycle, still have to keep pitching myself.

I don't know if any f u are having the same problem, but I am waking up with back ache every morning.I don't normally have a problem and think it's my mattress is too soft for me atm. It's quite a new mattress but it's killing me whilst being pregnant and I don't know what to do, going to end up sleeping on the floor at this rate, any suggestions?

On a brighter note our pram is back on offer, so want to order it this weekend :-)
