****October 2014 mummies****

Ooh Roxie what a nightmare ~ glad to know baby is ok, must have been a worry xx

Happy 22 weeks Kat :) xx. Happy 22 weeks tomorrow Claire xxx

Glad the scans are going well :) you're little one is shy about her private bits twinklin lol xx.

Hi girls, hope everyone is well! had my consultant appointment today and I have been offered a c section or early induction following a growth scan at 36 weeks! so looks like I might be a September mummy in the end depending how things go. sudden realisation that he could be here in 15 weeks! scary xx

Because I had a 3rd degree tear and haemorrhage last time after a labour that only lasted 3 hours. So they would rather me in hospital and controlled. Have a scan and consultant on the 2nd September to decide the route to go!
Just sat and wrote my letter to my employer to plan maternity leave. Only 10 weeks left at work as I have 3 weeks annual leave left to use so will finish on 34 weeks and have annual leave until 37! Exciting xx

That's crazy Steffy! It's good they are going to help with a controlled labour :) Yay to only 10 weeks left in work though! I've got either 9 or 10 weeks left of actual work though its split as I work term time and have 6 weeks off in the middle! Xx

Oooo that will be nice Beci. A few weeks to get everything ready then back to work then off again to relax :-) xx

I am looking forward to maternity leave Steffy xx also looking forward to the holidays ~ I'm slowing down already lol xx how long maternity will you take? I'm thinking 9 months but def have to analyse finances more! Xx

Pmsl Coach!! That tickled me, love it when she can't get back up!! Xx

I am very lucky in that we can afford for me to take a full year off, plus it will work better for us.
OH is a farmer and busy from end of July until September and earns a lot of money in this time, which will make up for my wages for the 13 weeks unpaid, plus we will be entitled to child tax credits once we have 2 children. We are still going to send Abi to nursery a couple of days a week as she loves it and don't want to take it away from her. Then for the last few weeks of my unpaid leave, she will be entitled to free hours as she will be 3, so that will take some strain off us. Also my mum helps us out a lot with childcare in the summer hols as she works in a school and don't want her to have 2 as its unfair on her. Going to have to look for a job that's 8-4/9-5 once I am back at work so that the following summer I am not relying on her so much xx

I know what you mean Hun xx I rely on my mum for child are too ~ well did until Joe went to school but will have to again for this one. I'm lucky as I work school hours and term time (saw you're a nurse on another thread ~ me too! But my work have been fab giving me amazing hours since Jan this year) xx a year will be great Hun xx

Ah glad to hear it went well black panther xx congrats on team blue xx had a quick look at your thread ~ I think it's down to expense Hun, I'm sure all is fine but they can never say 100% xxx think the sonographer was a wrong though as they would tell you if there was anything significant to worry about xxx

Congrats on team blue Black Panther, I agree with Beci they would have had to have told you if they thought there was a problem.

I had my scan on Monday, here's one of the pics of my little gymnast :) xxx

Lovely pics taffy! Cute little footsie there xx

Can't believe I did it but for the first time in my life I booked myself to beauty salon for a bikini wax! Petrified and slightly embarrassed. .. i always avoided it as I don't like the idea of strangers being around my intimate bits and just trimmed my self before hols but now i can't see a thing there!!! Wish me look... I added some nice treatments too so maybe I will forget about bad part. ..

Also question: any of you at around 22 weeks got the feel your rib cave is being pushed forward? I even got a hard bit ( like a womb) pretty easy to feel in between my ribs just under the Y bit ... getting achy now... actually all my joint are noisy now...

Good luck with the wax Kat have to warn you pregnancy does make you more sensitive in that area, I had mine done the other week for my hols and ot did make my eyes water and a few swear words popped out, but it is so much nicer then shaving plus you dont have to worry about spiders legs sticking out your bikini bottoms while your away lol

In my last pregnancy one of my rib bones kept popping out and I had to push it back in was bloody agony my consultant said its just where all your bones and ligaments soften to accommodate your growing bump ... another pregnancy joy!!
