Obstetrics Appointment

Hiya,
I've had my scan and due to have my next midwife appointment at 16 weeks, I've also received an obstetrics appointment with a doctor. Is this routine? And what do they do there? Not sure what to expect, and I don't know if OH needs to be there!

Hi hun,

There's always a point where you meet your consultant so I suspect that's what this is about. Here they done a little scan when they were at it, the consultant done the scan himself

How many weeks is the appointment for?

Ah right, that makes some sense. The only thing that the letter says is to bring my notes, which I have arranged to pick up since I normally wouldn't get them for another couple of weeks. The appointment is on the 12th of this month, I'll be 15 weeks 1 day that day. All very confusing!!
