I'm saying boy, I thought I was having a boy cuz my scan was like yours and I am having a boy If the nub points above a 30 degrees angle (basically points up) it's a male nub and if it's dead straight or below 30 degrees (pointing down) it's a female nub. Good luck x

This is correct but you have to take into account how straight the spine is. The flatter baby is the better the prediction. x

I would say the nub for Julie83 is dead straight so i guess girl , you must let us know when you find out. All the best xxx

I am toally new to this forum and I am trying to work my way around it. Just looking at the nub theory...... This is a scan pic of my 12 week scan - does anyone have any ideas????
