well i finally found out that i'm having a baby girl :cheer:

so the names can being :lol:

but what names?? i haven't a cule where to start... has anyone got any ideas on how to find that perfect name??

has it an awkward last name to go with ? so many pretty girly names!
 
Do you want 'old' names, modern names? religous names? sorry not being much help here am I!!! :? :?
 
yes ladies her name has to mean something beautiful, something that's powerful.... her last name will be forde,(my second name) but then again it might be itela (partner's second name) so i'm not sure yet..

but i don't want any names that are everywhere

any ideas?? :roll:
 
I just looked up "beautiful" and there were 2 really nice ones............Arabella, and English name, and Callia, a Greek name, those 2 stood out to me :)
 
Oooh or "powerful" Kellyn a Celtic name, i like that one! :wink:
 
na i don't want them as names lol i want a name that means something, strong, powerful, beautiful

How about Maeve, an irsh name which is after a celtic warrior goddess renowned for her power and beauty? It also sounds very good with both the surnames I think? (pronounced MAYV)
 
you can buy a book which has unusal names in it, cant remember what its called or look on the net..
A name is a very personal thing so its difficult to give you any ideas...
 
yeh i was thinking to get a book with unusual names... i would like a name from another country..

i think this will take a looooooooooong time :roll:

I saw a little girl at a photo shoot last week called Destiny Ian loves that name for a girl
 
I had a book that had tradtional and unusual names in it bought for us ..Also ebay sell e books of names for about £1.

It means golden princess.... its a name of a famous irish princess ( I THINK :lol: )

I love this name. BUt then I love Irish names in general. My daughter is Niamh and I don't know if Niamh and Maeve go if you know what I mean. No one else seems to have heard of it that I know (even though Maeve Beachy is a famous author). Glad you have chosen this name it is beautiful.
