November mummies

Congrats Chloe and welcome!

I know what you mean, we are keeping it to ourselves for the moment so it just doesn’t seem real. If all goes well we’re going to tell our mums (and soon to be nanas!) on mother’s day which I think will be lovely, and I’ll be 6 weeks on the dot then. Will tell other immediate family and close friends shortly after, everyone else will be at the standard 12 weeks. Also my first appointment isn’t until 23rd April! It all just seems surreal at the moment...

Wishing you a healthy 9 months xxx

It's mad isn't it !! I havnt binned my tests that I've taken and everyday I look in the cupboard and go 'ohh ' and feel excited again!!
That's amazing that you will tell them on mother's day!!
How far are you now?
I'm feeling all weird low tummy feelings, like very dull aches, have you had this?

Xx

@TTChloexx what a nice idea telling them on mothers day! I bet they'll be thrilled :)

@ChloB Ive had those low dull aches as well,im 4+6 today and have had them pretty much since i found out every now and then. That was the earliest sign really, I remember telling my OH that AF must be on the way cause Ive had those crampy feelings in my lower tummy. But luckily it wasnt and I had the positive test 2 days later <3

I'm just worried as when I'm going to the loo I'm seeing brown on the tissue, not sure if I need to see the doctor or not? I'm hoping it's going to calm down

I think as long as its not bright red and there's no clots it should be harmless. It being brown it could mean that youre placenta has attached itself to your uterus. :)
Just keep an eye on it and try not to worry hun xx

Thank you for easing my worry Its night bright or any clots, it's good to be reassured by someone who's going through the same experience, did you had any brownish signs etc? xxxx

I didnt have anything yet but I just met with my midwife and she said if I experience any brown or light pink discharge or very light bleeding not to worry and to just monitor it, so I think its very common :)

Oh that's reassuring then I see mine in 2 weeks for my first meeting at 8wks.
I'll try and rest tonight and not overthink it.
Thanks Mandy xx

Yeah I think it will be a nice day to tell them :)

Any of you told family yet? Xxx

Not a problem xx
So I ended up at the hospital today, pain was a little worse than it's been, nurses also thought i was already around 12 weeks judging from dates but I'm not in defo only 6 weeks. They did a scan and an internal one !! No heartbeat seen just yet as it's just the sac but booked in again in 2 weeks to check up on it.
They found 2 simple cysts on my left ovary but said they should hopefully calm down and that may be part of the pain I feel.
Keeping my fingers crossed all is ok xx

No, just my boss incase I need emergency time etc
I just don't want to tell too many ppl too early on, I'm a worry wart, after going got an emergency scan today after having cramps I just wanted to check it's all ok before we tell anyone.
Keeping my fingers crossed for the next check up

Oh gosh I hope everything is ok! Sounds like you’re in safe hands with the midwifes though, keep us updated when you go back in in two weeks!
I’m exactly the same, the way I’ve thought about it is I should only tell those who I could also tell if anything went wrong. So that’s what I’m going to do :)
Xxx

Im so sorry, keep us updated and hopefully you hear a strong heartbeat in 2 weeks time xx

We've only told our close family and our best friends cause we couldn't keep it a secret from them. But as you said those would also be the people that we would tell if something went wrong. The rest will know after the 12 week scan.

Thanks Mandy, that puts me at ease as I was worrying I would be telling people too early at 6 weeks!
I hope you’re ok Chloe after today xxx

Thank you Mandy, my hubby said to ring the clinic just in case and due to my period/break through bleed, the nurse thought I would be nearly 12wks if you go from my period date which was 2/01. I'm just going to wait for this second scan and hope we see the flutter
The cysts are what worried me too, 2 on my left ovary, obviously the screen makes them look massive but she called them 'simple' cysts? Xx

Hello everyone and congratulations on your bfp’s!

I’m tiptoeing into the group after a MMC at 12 weeks in November and receiving my BFP today.

Absolutely over the moon but very early days and had brown spotting since Monday, I actually thought AF was arriving. Based on ovulation date I think my due date would be around 26th Nov putting me at 4+2.

I’m an absolute ball of emotion and I’ve barely said a word since finding out this evening. I’m ecstatic and nervous all at the same time. No symptoms as yet!

Good luck everyone xxx

Congratulations !!!
I have all the emotions too and I'm the biggest worrier as well!!
Mandy and Chloe have listened to my worries these past few days but today I felt like I needed to speak to nurse/midwife and I'm glad I have now, external and internal scan but she worked out I was 5+5 weeks, back in 2 weeks for a check up as well as the midwife the same week.
I'm glad there's a place we can all swap stories and help each other
How far along are you? Xxx
