Thought I'd just get the November 2ww thread up and running so we can obsess together!!

I quit charting so I have no idea when I will ovulate, I just know that I should be expecting AF from the 19th (LP is 14days) so my fertile window should start the 1st of November... ish.

I've been dreaming about getting positive pregnancy tests...it must be the most amazing feeling in the world to see those two lines!

FX that November will be a really good month!!

I've just got a high fertility clear blue test this morning! I've ovulated a couple of days late this month for some reason! :-s
Planning on jumping my husband tonight and hopefully tomorrow (morning sex for the win!).
I should entering the tww by Sunday or Monday so I'll be hovering around here with you ladies!

Just managed to jump the hubby! :-D
Used Conceive+ and got my MoonCup in, and planning on giving him a lapdance tomorrow night so will hopefully get some more BD in!
Trying to do more "sex stuff" for him, so we're not having sex purely for baby making, plus it's been a fair few years since he got a lapdance from me!

I'm not in the tww just yet but feeling pretty dispirited I have a low sex drive mainly due to an awful past sexually and I really struggle now that I put myself under pressure to dtd on certain days. some people are really into it and I'm kinda jealous cuz i know that I have to do it to get a baby but the majority of the time I really don't want to

I didn't get my solid smiley todat and my ewcm has now gone. Looked back through my app and I had ewcm since cd13 and pains on cd14 but didn't opk till cd 16..i think I may of ovulated on cd14 this month and be 7dpo . Oh well least that's a week of tww gone . i remember getting the pains but i dont usually ov that early xx

So sorry to hear this Laura.
Im one of those who really aren't into sex at all but of course gotta dtd to get pregnant.. I'll be glad of the day when I don't have to worry about dtd at the right time (and just before)..


I'm not sure I stand a chance for November but my fertile week starts Monday and should have af by the 15th or 16th. Feel so desperate this month going to start taking cough syrup never tried it for ttc. Anything is worth a go at this point I guess.

Thanks for replying millie. At least I'm not so alone. I always think I'm a weirdo cuz I'd rather just cuddle and I don't really get "in the mood". It's not something I can just fake... that wouldn't be fair to my husband either.

The idea of dtd like every other day and then every day for 4 days is actually very anxiety inducing for me cuz I'm immediately stressed at having to force myself to do that basically I don't want my husband to juat think I'm using him either

I've never heard of cough syrup for ttc, what is it supposed to help with? Worth a shot! Xx

Guaifenesin, a common ingredient in cough syrups, is an 'expectorant'. That is, it relieves congestion by helping liquefy mucus in your lungs, allowing you to cough it up. And because it works systemically on all mucus membranes in your body, it can make your cervical mucus wetter, too."

This is what I read about it, just running out of things to try so felt like worth a go?
Taking it twice a day starting today until just after pos opk


I was going by my app for when fertile week starts but I think it's wrong actually. I'm cd10 today and usually get pos opk cd14. Soooo I guess now is fertile week?

Im starting to think my app has been completely lying to me for months now hahaha I'm wondering if I'm actually ovulating earlier than I think I have been and my whole ovulation life has been a lie! I have two apps and they normally agree with each other but I've been seeing other people post up about their apps being wrong and naming the same ones !

Started using opks this month just difficult trying to hide this all from the 4 other people we live with. It'll be worth it in the end xx

My app is sooooo messed up from the dates I added for my ivf cycles and miscarriage!
Right now it seems to think I should be having cycles as long as 33 days..
I've only been using it since last October (the one I used before I lost the data when I got a new phone)
I keep thinking surely it should straighten itself out soon.. I've had more 28/29 day cycles than the three longer ones for ivf and the miscarriage.
It's so annoying but I'll just have to keep ignoring it for now!

I understand what you mean xxx both DH and I don't have a very high sex drive, we love cuddling etc and at most we'll dtd once a week...ttc is hard sexually on us and caused a lot of friction. Now I've adopted a 'when it happens it happens' attitude. At least I can now go back to enjoying it

They do...I dreamed about positive tests for three nights running including it being twins...after the third night of dreams, I got the bfp. Unlike any of the chemicals, the line progression has been rapid and I actually believe it can last this time. Never had bfp dreams with the chemicals.

Aw girls. Here we are again. I've ditched the opks.. All I know is that it's my fertile week and I'm on holiday in Africa and I'm not going to stress about it. My 2ww begins in a couple of days. Feeling a bit resigned but hopeful. It would be amazing to fall pregnant a month after my sister as we are so close. FX for all of us.

Well I am only on cd#1 so a while before I am in the 2ww. I can't believe it's cycle 11 for us.I had the worst cramps too.

As for sex drive. I find it so difficult too. I am a like 3 times a month kinda girl and having sex every 2nd day for 2 weeks it's so unnatural and forced....me and DH both hate it but what can you do. I don't even have any charting that nakes sense. My temps don't drop when af arrives and the days from lh surge to af always change. Had it!!It's so tiring and stressful 11months down the line. We both are really fed up.

I tried the cough syrup Millie but only for 1 cycle. I hated tne taste of it so didn't continue with it.

Good luck anyone testing start of November!

I got a positive opk on cd9 and ovulated on cd10 of this cycle and fell pregnant. I ovulated on cd9 after my first chemical and fell again straight away. Go for it, just try to make it fun. Xx

Alexis, why not tey to just go bt your cm alone and dtd a few times when it's like ewcm and then just relax? You really need to take the pressure off yourself. Xxx
