No Sweep Today :(

Well I went for my sweep todaqy but my cervix is closed and high so it was not possible! Because i haven't techniquely had a sweep she said i could come in again tuesday for another try. mw said there is no chance of having babe tonight and i should be taken off of labour watch lol!
On the plus side she said placenta sounded swooshy and healthy and that the amount of fluid also indicates a healthy placenta - so no wonder babe is happy to stay put! Am 2/5 engaged too so all that walking has done some good!

sorry to hear you were disappointed evajo, hopefully you'll be able to have your sweep on Tuesday instead! Still, it's good to know baby must be happy in there if everything sounds so good!

Sorry you couldnt get your sweep today But Ill be keeping my fingers crossed for Tuesday for you! Hopefully baby will realise you want things to speed up a little and by tuesday start getting their act together. Good news that baby is 2/5ths though x

I feel so thick but I didn;t realise you're cervix had to be ready to a certain extent to have a sweep! Try bouncing a lot on an exercise ball (apparantly it helps bring things down lol).
