Yeah i've decided when i go into labour i dont want any pan relief at all lol. Becauuuse i was thinking about it last night, An my mum was telling me when she was pregnant, couldnt know sex of babys an wasnt half of much pain relief now than there was then. An prob yeaaars ago women had to do it without any!
So im going all natural me!
watch me change my mind at last minute lol :rotfl:

you must be craaazzzzzyyy woman!!!!!

I take my hat off to you!

It can't be that baaaaaaad! hehe :D i wana do it more so now because i wont take any pain relief, taken 1 paracetamol in my whole life (aaprt from when younger an given pain relief to me by family) No matter how bad my period pains were i never taken any relief lol. And my sister's got a lil monkey who's almost 5, an she had a c-section with him, she didnt feel nothing, not even 1 contraction. An she keeps sayin to me i wont be able to cope with the pain! but i'l show her

Good luck with that one!!!!
I had nothing at all when I had my son but my pain threshold is very high!! I had normal delivery and didn't feel conctractions either!!!
keep an open mind tho hun coz you neva know until your goin thru it!!!

im going to try going without gas and air this time..it is hard.. and it is very painfull i would go in to it with an open mind if i were you.. thinking you want no pain relief at all might make you dissapoineted in yourself if you have to have some.. perhaps you should think il try with nothing and have minimal if i cant do without any..

I'm going to natural birth (active birth) classes. Some of the women there are adamant about avoiding pain relief and really would feel like failures if they couldn't stick it out.

The reason I'm going is because I want to do everything possible to make the birth a positive experience, so I want to learn all the management techniques I can! If I manage without drugs then I'll see that as a big success - but only because it'll mean that I've not been in excruciating pain. Pain starts -> take me off to laa-laa land!

I think it's best to have an open mind as you don't know what's going to happen until it's on you, but I totally respect your decision.

Recommend the classes by the way, the pain management techniques and techniques for getting the baby in position are excellent and it's really reassuring!

good luck, I had a bad time with paris so not sure what I'll do

Good luck - Ill prob take everything going
