Well I thought it was too good to be true lol. For the first 14 weeks of his life Albert self settled at night......now he wants to be rocked to sleep lol. This has coincided with us moving his basket away from the bed so am sure he just wants to know I am still there. I'm thinking he might feel better in the cot cos he'll be able to see us.

He's become very clingy with both of us and I'm a bit worried cos for the first time ever we are leaving him with my mum on Sunday whilst we do the infant first aid course. Any tips for making it as stress free as possible for him? He only sees my mum and dad maybe once a week xxxxxxx

aww im sure he will be ok, not too sure but my only tip would be to make sure he is awake when you leave cos if he is asleep with you there and wakes and your gone it might be upsetting for him, maybe get them to call round a few times during the week too if they can so they become a bit more of a constant presence ( even if they driv e u nuts lol)

I want to do a infant first aid course too thanks for reminding me to get onto that x

We are doing ours at the sure start centre, I think it's 15 quid per person xxxxxxx

Dont think we have one a dem here but thanks will have a google of it x

unfortunately H wa the same till about the same age and he is only just starting to self settle again!! I think it is just when they start to be more aware of their surroundings and find it harder to switch off without some reassurance!! DOnt worry about sunday, im sure he will be entertained by your mum and wont even notice!!
xxx

Our centre has a crèche next door where they tell you if the baby needs you.

Really? Ours doesn't :( and I asked again and we definitely can't take him with us. I could always smuggle him in in the changing bag lol

I was so desperate to see my cousin's new baby last week I left E with my dad for an hour and a half without my mum there to supervise! Apparently she slept and cried in 20min cycles! I felt awful when I got back, but she was all smiles again after 5 mins. It made me realise I do need to start getting her used to being left with other people gradually otherwise when I go back to work in Dec and she goes into childcare it's going to be a nightmare!

G did this about the same age. We're just getting back into it now, but sometimes she still wants bedtime cuddles. Xxx

On my iPhone - so cant see tickers :(
