No Fetal Pole at 7 weeks

Hi guys I really need some help. So my lmp was 13/3 so I’ve calculated j should be roughly 7 weeks. I want for a scan today as I have been spotting and she could only see a sac an no fetal pole.

The nurse said I’m either miscarrying or my dates aren’t right and I’ve been asked to come back next week. So I’m currently in limbo.

Has anyone been in the same position? Can the pole develop later or shall I prepare myself for the worst

How sure are you of your dates? You could of ovulated later?

I could be wrong but I think your supposed to have a Fetal pole by 6 weeks.

I had a missed miscarriage last year and had to wait for it to be confirmed. I hope this isn’t the case for you but I know exactly how hard this wait will be.
