No cramps during ovulation only after

Is that strange? Normally I get ovulation cramps. Clear blue connected said I ovulated Saturday/Sunday and I got white mucus Saturday so I’m sure that’s when I ovulated but without pain.
Last night it was so uncomfortable I couldn’t sleep. Never had pain days after ovulation & to the point I couldn’t sleep. Anyone else have pain after but not during? X
