Had to walk round shoppin centre last nite with jeans undone fallin down :'(

i cant afford to buy new ones... tryin to wear all my old clothes from when i was bigger, but dont even fit into them now :'(

any suggestions? xx

Go to primark right now and buy yourself a thick belt !! thats what iv done cus maternity jeans r too loose on me legs, and normal ones i cant do up, so i just do up as much of the zip as possible, and then put me big belt over it !!!

Otherwise iv found charity shops and infinite help, and dreses that go under boobs and out, and out and out !!

I'm the same, i havent got money to be splashing out on maternity wear so been having to wear my trousers without fastening the button!! jeans are a no-no now so i dont even bother trying them on anymore, i found some three-quarters in H&M last week though with stretchy top so bought two pairs of them - £10 each!! that way i can wear them again once baby arrives!! :D

i have one pair of maternity jeans and thats it, i still fit in my work trousers but nothing else...
i have a bump band- it was £3 from newlook but i find it makes me a bit too hot and i have to pin the back as my bump isnt big enough!!
i have a leaving do next week at a posh place and i dont know what to wear!!! i can't wear my jeans :(

Just as a quick fix you can tie a bit of elastic looped around the button hole of your jeans/trousers and then wrap the other loop end around the button. At least it'll stop your jeans falling down.

I'm living in leggings at the moment, there the only thing I'm comfortable in. there only about 3 pound a pair from primark

Next maternity jeans are fairly reasonably priced and they are sooooo comfortable. If I were only going to invest in one piece of maternity wear next boyfriend maternity jeans would be it. They fit lovely everywhere and sit under the bump. They come with a belt which is a must have as they fall down otherwise.

google 'bellybelt' and definately invest in one.i have one and its a lifesaver!

I bought a pair of next maternity jeans for £20 which have been a life saver. As for tops try Primark...there's loads of tops that are perfect to wear if you have a bump even though they're not 'maternity'. because of that though you end up paying half the price of maternity clothes!!

Ive luckily got lots of dresses that will fit with a massive bump but I feel your pain!

I too have found the next boyfriend maternity trousers fab and have a pair of linen white trousers from New look maternity range that are light and cheap at £18.

I have some tracky bottoms I use around the house and plan to get some leggings for colder days to put on under dresses as I hate maternity tights!

The elastic is a good idea I used a hair bobble but now I find it too uncomfy to do this but see if you can get away with it.

I have 2 bump bands which were £5 from topshop but TBH they dont stop your trousers falling down just cover up tops that are too short.

 aww look in the paper and get second hand. Or try a few charity shops. Ring them up and ask if they have any in. I gave all mine to my sister in law and im not sure what shes done with them. What size are you?

Theres loads of great dresses in Primark at the min! From £5!

I know what you mean. Maternity wear is a rip off! I found New look really good though. I have a black pair of linen maternity trousers and a white pair. (£16 each i think). they are a godsend as so comfy. Tops you can buy cheap as they dont have to be maternity.

I still think someone should set up their own business to sell cheap trendy maternity wear. It would definately take off!!

I've been buying some bits and pieces from ebay and you find the clothes are usually in really good condition because they're not actually worn for that long. :)
