Nipple Stimulation - Breast Pump??

Can you use a Breast Pump for nipple stimulation & if so would I be wasting my Colostrum for when baby does arrive if I express it off?

I used mine and i did get a little dribble out, but to be honest it didn't do anything - i was still induced. It didn't affect my colostrum feeding though!!

I'd not. If you've no milk really coming through then chances are it'll make for sore nipples and will be painful to try. Expressing with a breast pump is nothing like nipple stimulating. Two totally different things and your senses respond differently.
