We're still feeding. She still doesn't go down before midnight. But fx it'll mean sleeping till 5am.... Always Si scared to look at the time when she wakes up!!

Hello ladies I hope you are ok. I keep missing out on how everyone is doing! Too many pages to read! :/

Dd woke up as usual at 2. Just feeding her now. Ive managed a few hrs kip but had really bad dreams :/ hope I have a decent sleep later xx

Sara, sorry to hear things just are not getting better

My good news is Mollie slept from 9.30 - 3.30. Hubby sent me to bed the second she stopped feeding so I've had almost 5h sleep. Feel bloody amazing. But she screamed like I'd never heard before she went down. I have her a tummy massage which helped but it was horrible!

To settle with me and I just keep getting upset! Not to sure how I'm going to get through the next few weeks/months, not had any decent amount of sleep since before he was born, just feel like I'm

Ugh been awake on and off since 3am!

T has been doing this really annoying moan! Kinda like he's just playing but he's sleeping for a few mins in between!

I give him his dummy thinking he'll go back to sleep, he'll be quiet for a few mins then will go start moaning again - grrrr!

He used to sleep so nicely 9-5.30 ish on average and the past couple of nights he's randomly waking up at these times.

I've eventually caved and just giving him a bottle.

Firstly try not to think too far ahead just take each night as it comes, tomorrow will prob be a better day.

It will get better hun. Have you tried different places / rocker / your bed / your arms?

When T was little he went thru a phase of not sleeping his basket so I slept with him in my arms with loads of pillows around me to secure him, it was the only way I could get some sleep

Hi all, well yesterday I was feeling really ill so attempted to go to bed early and leave oh with a bottle and went to bed at 9pm. As usual I didnt get to sleep at all, and started gttubg a fever so was hot one minute, cold the next.. So was dreading the night feeds. Well my little sweetheart dropped his 3am feed and only woke up at 6:15! It was like he knew I was ill and needed it! Still feel rough of course as still kept waking randomly through the night, but still so impressed.

Katie hun try not to worry, everyone feels like that at the beginning, if I'm honest on a bad day I still feel like that now and my baby is 13 weeks! It does get easier as you find little things and techniques that work for u. I would say don't be strict with what u try, anything is better than not getting any sleep. I average about 5/6 hours of broken sleep a night, every night. That rubbish but my body has kind of adjusted to it now and your will too xxx

Spin, we did well latching without shields all afternoon and evening but used shield for last feed and at 5am as she was tired and kept latching wrong. When we get it right it doesn't hurt at all now!! Amazing. Still a lot work to do though.

Katie, big hugs. Try any and everything. Diff milk, diff size teat, ewan the sheep, hot water bottle in basket before he goes in, swaddling, cosleeping, white noise app, rolled up blanket in a horseshoe shape at feet end....
You'll get things that work for you eventually. Any signs of reflux?

Hannah did 12-5 as usual but then school boy error, changed and fed but she fell asleep quick after short feed so put her back down... Woke up 30 mins later. Ho hum. Done feed, double nappy change and feed now asleep ish.... Will see if I can get a couple more hours now! Nowhere to be today anyway (as always!) Xx

Well i'm really pleasantly surprised. I was so tired last night. Managed to give her last feed at 9.30pm. Next thing i know she waking up and it's 5am. Cannot believe it..My.good girl. She had a nappy change and feed at 5am. Now she fasr asleep again. I'm up to see to ds now. I'm sure it's just a one off but i feel good this morning.

Aww Katie it can be so hard, theres alqays good and bad days. Like someone has mentioned just keep changing positions. I find when she screaming. Cuddling her tight in my arms, swaddledand rocking hr back.and forth and saying shhhh and running my finger over her nose and eyes. It works in the end. I hope u feel better soon. I been havong some really off days. Do u have anyone who can have baby for few hrs ? x

We've just put E in her big girl's cot next to my side of the bed as she's outgrown her basket, but she turns herself round so she's sleeping widthways! Little monkey.

Thankfully had an alright sleep with E. Feeding at 4, she started crying when I put her back & I thought that was my night done for, but when I picked her up, she did a massive burp and filled her nappy! She seemed wide awake after the nappy change but happily sat in her cot in the dark chatting to herself for a bit until she dropped off.

She woke full of beans at 7 & we're just feeding now before we're off into town. It's a bank holiday here today & we're doing a race. I'm running 6k then OH is doing the 10k & we're both doing the relay babysitting event

Ahh Claire thats great!

Didn't dream feed spin. He looked so peaceful. Worked out well thst we didn't anyway.

J slept 7hr from 8.45-3.45 then 3 hours until now. He didnt wake at 6am! I think his internal clock broke.
Was lovely that for both feeds he gave big smiles when he saw us

We had an awful night in the end, and all because I wanted to boob feed before bed as I was missing nighttime boob.

Usually he has a formula feed at 7.30pm then he sleeps from 8-1.30, but because he had boob he went from 8-11.30 then was up every 3 hours after that. Safe to say I won't be doing that again!

Not a good night for us last night Seren woke at 11, 2 and 5 to feed which isn't too bad but it's the unsetteledness in between feeding that's getting to me. Bless her heart she is sick so much, I've always got one ear open listening out for it so I don't sleep well and last night after the 2am feed although she went back to sleep she was really squirmy and noisy so I barely got any sleep after 2. Poor little thing has such a hoarse throat this morning as well, sometimes when she cries its more of a squeak that comes out. Phoned gp surgery this morning as it seems more and more like reflux but the next available appt with the nice dr (the other dr is an idiot!) isn't until Wednesday! Receptionist is going to see if she can squeeze us in at the end of surgery today though, have to ring back at 11 to see. Fingers crossed xxx
