I had one of these fitted 3 weeks ago (will be 4 weeks wednesday). im just asking if anyone has had any experiance as ive bled since having it. although i understand it may take a while to settle with the hormones etc. can anyone advise as i dont want to see doc unless necessary!! im hoping it may decide to settle soon!! xx

I got mine put in on Monday evening, I was told to continue taking my pill for a full week after having this done. I havent experienced anything, but that could be due to me still taking the pill at the moment. Doctor warned me that I could experience extremely heavy bleeding for a continuous 3 months just about after having the implanon put in or it could be the other extreme, I may not have any bleeding or I could just be normal or have slight bleeding every now and again. I wouldnt worry too much about it but if you feel something isnt right, then go to the doctor (wether u feel silly or not), it will put ure mind at ease x
