I can now join the First trimester group... found out yesterday :-)

Hello and welcome!!!

I just got my BFP yesterday too!!!

It sure is exciting isn't it - I am finding it really hard not to tell everyone!

I am just trying not to get too excited as it is still such early days. But finding it really difficult.

A bit worried about being ill at work and having to take time off but just spoke to someone who's about to go off on maternity leave and she said she only had one day for headaches!
She said she ate through her morning sickness - sounds good to me especially if it is Cadburys!

Main problem at the moment is my bothersome stuffy nose - it is making me snore badly at night (poor hubbie) and means I have a sore throat and husky voice all day!!

Anyway, great to hear your good news. Happy pregnancy!

Congratulations..... I am finding it hard not to tell people... My DH is really really excited.. he can't shut up about it.. Already planning the nursery LOL.. I'll feel better when i get my confirmation from the doctors tomorrow morning....
Only people we've told are my husbands parents..... and i told my friend at work as she's pregnant too so we can discuss stuff and compare notes... I won't tell my parents for a few more days......

CONGRATULATIONS Honey.

Thre's a thread about the stuffy nose a few days down the 'symptoms' board. I got a steroid nasal spray fom the doc- he said it doesn't enter the blood much. No amount of steam inhalations etc were shifting it and my boyf couldn't sleep

Funny I was just thinking the same, I found out 4 days before AF due, so week 3, trimester one will seem much longer than those finding out at week 7 or 8.

Hi Grunite and Sal,

Congratulations!!!

I too found out I was pregnant yesterday - after trying for over 18 months. Can't quite believe it yet but I'm so happy (hub is too!).

I've already told my mum and my husbands parents - they knew we'd be trying for a long time so we wanted to put them out of their misery. Though its weird feeling this happy and not sharing it with everyone else esp at work.

Its great to chat with others who have just found out they're pregnant - hopefully we can all keep in touch throughout the whole 9 months!!

Congratulations Katie-Ann! Great to hear your news!

Completely agree - really want to tell everyone and it seems wierd not sharing something like this with people you know (and most people are likely to notice I'm not drinking). We've only told our 2 closest friends and are going to try not to tell anyone else until after the first scan (if I can hold out that long)!

When will you be due?

Keep in touch!
