Hi There,

Been a while since i have posted on here although the time seems to have flown by...

We are thinking about baby number 2 possible towards the end of this year, i just wondered what the average time to conceive after coming off the pill? I have been on it since Jacob was born and wondred if i need to stop it now or carry on till the end of the year? I know it's different for everyone but just wondered if anyone has a rough guidline!

Im not sure how long it should take, how long did it take to concieve number 1? It depends on the person really....

ahh well lets just say number one was an unexpected bundle of joy so i have no idea how long it took, could have been years worth of accidents!!

My hubby went to see a GP about checking out to see if there could be any problems and he said that its not uncommon for it to take upto a year.

i think it all depends on the person, most people i have spoken 2 have took around 6months. But it all depends on the person i guess, and how long it takes for your periods to get back to normal and start ov. Iv been off it six weeks and havent had a period yet!!good luck xxx

It could take a while for your cycle to regulate coming off the pill
