Hi all,

Just wanted to introduce myself. My names Kerry and I live in Southampton. I found out on Saturday that I am pregnant

I was actually due my period last Monday and just felt different so on Wednesday did an Asda HPT which came back negative. I just didn't believe it so did a Clear Blue (is that what it's called? doesn't sound right now........) one and it was positive - yey!!!!!

I have certainly been feeling more bloated around the tummy area which I really didn't expect so early and have had some aches and pains (which the god that is google tells me are normal), but for the last two days feel completely normal again and am starting to get paranoid, did I imagine it? (no, my partner saw the test too), have I lost it? (wouldn't there be blood etc?).

Are there others out there that have experienced the same things? I would only be 5 and half weeks now so very very early. No-one knows yet.

Symptoms come and go, epsecially in the early weeks just try to relax (i know its hard!)

Thanks so much everyone. I knew it was a good idea joining this forum. I just don't feel pregnant now and although we will only be at 6 weeks this coming Monday we are going to tell my family tomorrow, as if the worst happens we will need their support. But..........I feel like a phoney at the moment. I feel like if I did another test it's going to come up negative and a clown will jump out and say "ha ha ha we were only joking before" (or some other strange scenario but you get the picture).

I think I will do another test in the morning anyway, just to put my mind at rest. I know I am being paranoid by the way, you'll get to know that is typical of me.

Hope everyone elses pregnancies are going smoothly.

Welcome Kerrykins - PF is a smashing place, your partner (OH) will get bored of pregnancy chitchat (all day long) and as it's happening to your body, you won't so come online and chat away... we love it

Re the symptoms, it's early days, and just enjoy feeling normal still, the rest will come soon enough, unless your a really lucky one who feels great all the way through...
