I stayed in hospital for all bar one night with Ella - for the first five days I was in a ward away from her which was horrid. Then I got discharged and came home for one night - hard leaving her but I was grateful to get home and sleep in my own bed and organise stuff at home. The next day I was asked to move into a rooming in room at hospital and basically had Ella in a bedroom with me all the time whilst we established feeding. Much better than being on a ward but got frustrating as was basically stuck in those four walls and has been much easier since I've been home where hubbie can help and I can sleep in my own bed!

Ella was weighed again today and is now 5lbs 13 so she is reallly piling it on

Ah ha, Ive found you, lurking in here!

Just wanted to say im so glad little Ella is doing well - my bed was practically next to scbu, and it was heartbreaking seeing all those machines, with little babies - but it looks like they do amazing stuff. And bless her, she is getting there with her weight - all in the right direction!

Well Ella continues to put on weight - 6lbs 6oz today! Plus she definitely looks longer in her Moses basket x
