New to this !

Hi everyone
I have never used these tests before so some advice would be good. We have a 3yr old son and me and my partner decided it was time for another but we have been trying since January and no luck my cycles are 36 days and are regular as clockwork. Not sore what we're doin wrong. My partner has 3 other children with somebody else so I don't think he has any issues. Could you tell me if the test with the two darker lines is + and also do you have any tips for conceiving please? Thanks in advance x x x

The bottom test looks positive to me hun....what was ur test line like before it dried, as it looks darker than ur control line which is good!

as for advice, im prob not te best to advise as i havent been lucky enuff to have a baby yet....but i suppose some general advice may help.....

- dont use lubricants as its bad for the sperm (preseed lube and conceive plus are ttc friendly)
- u cood try putting ur bum on a pillow after bding for about 30 mins (i do anyway) as it may help sperm reach cervix
- missionary position and doggy are best positions for getting sperm as close as poss
- apparentlydont have oral sex as saliva can kill th sperm
- apparently morning sperm is more potent than evening sperm

i cant tink of anything else off the top of my head hun but good luck, be sure to add ur name to the testing thread im hosting...im apparently very lucky and lots of girls get their bfps when i host it xxx

Hiya,
Thanks for your reply. That was after it had dried. The top one was what I did yesterday. I went out and got some conceive plus this afternoon so fingers crossed! Good luck for yourself, I'm surfeit will happen soon! What annoys me is that with my son we weren't trying, it was totally unexpected and yet this time nothing?
I hadn't thought of the pillow thing, well we are getting on it tonite - lol so I will give it a go!

u prob caught before becuse you were relaxed because u werent ttc....apparently the months girls relax is the one they get bfp.....easier said than done tho eh xxx

Im new to this site.
Me and my partner are trying for a baby as of monday 7th Oct and I recently purchased Tesco's ovulation kit as its difficult to test my ovulating calender as Iv only just had coil taken out. I had started my period on 3rd oct prior to taking out coil and finished 2 days ago. I have been testing for a few days and there was no test line seen then it has got darker and darker until today they are the same colour. I presume this is the time of ovulation?
Me and my partner and been having fun everynight since monday but I want to go all out for ovulstion time
What do you think?

I only have the Internet cheapness but I the instructions to mine say the test line has to be the same colour or darker for it to be positive. I'm now on day 21 and I am still getting dark lines but today is definitely the darkest yet. Also I have been getting cramps etc which I know is a sign that I'm ovulating so plenty of for me the last few nights. With my son it just happened so not happening this time is weird for me but it has meant I've got to know my body which I think is key.
Hope this helps? As a matter of interest how much we're the Tesco ones?
