Hi, i have been lurking on here for a while but never had the courage to write anything,
I am 12wks +2days by my calculations, however i have my 1st scan on tuesday so will find out for def then.
My problem is sickness, when i first found out i was pregnant the sickness started almost straight away, i was signed off work for a wek but that did not help, i went back to the docs and and she eventually gave me some anti sickness meds. i have used them all up and i now feel sicker than ever, i cant go to work and i can barely eat or drink at the moment, i am going to try and see the doctor tomorrow but if she cant help then i dont know what to do.
This is my first pregnancy, i dont have any friends living near by and my family live in Dubai, and OHs family live in Scotland, i feel very alone.

Sorry that my first post was a moan but thought you guys might be able to help me feel better.

Its horrible isn't it, I had 24 hour sickness (not actually physically being sick) just a constant feeling of nausea from weeks 8-18 with Evie. Have some   .Its just those damn hormones racing around your body. It will get better as time goes on, everyone said to me it would ease at 12wks but I found it was longer than this. Honestly the only thing I could eat was weetabix and cold milk as for looking/ smelling any other foods it was :puke: Try and keep your liquids up at the least and if you are actually being sick make sure you don't get dehydrated.

I didn't find any miracle cures but some things to try might be ginger, plain biscuits. Eating plain things little and often. Also the travel sickness bands you can get in boots, like sweat bands that go on your wrists and have a bit of plastic in that act on your pressure points.

Welcome to the forum  and congratualtions on your pregnancy (where in Leic are you?)
