hello everyone ive been posting in TTC but i think i belong in here,
me and oh have been ttc for 2 years now, ive had bloods done and they came back ok, oh went for seman analaysis yesterday so just waiting on results now. Its really starting to get me down, i never actually thought it would come to this. once we get refered to the fertility clinic they can do more test, does anybody know what theses tests are and what treatment would be avalible to us? thankx for your help xxx

It is awful when you start feeling like it is going to be a uphill climb before you get your baby, but you'll be ok

It really depends on the semen results, if they come back bad them they probably won't do much more with you except for maybe an ultrasound. The treatment will either be IUI, IVF or ICSI.

If they come back good then the focus will be all on you. You'll probably repeat your bloods, have an ultrasound, maybe a lap and dye. The treatment might start with rounds of clomid, maybe ovarian drilling, hysteroscopy, IUI - depending of what they think the problem is.

It's a bit more complicated and long term if the female has the problems, but it also tends to be much more treatable.

If it's the guy with the problem, how long you can try for depends on your income

well i guess we're just going to have to wait and see what oh's results come back with its just scary to think this could be only the beggining of a very long road xx
