I'm 4 weeks after my miscariage, just had my first period and I so desperately want to try again! But there's that nervous fear that it could happen again... Guess I'm just looking for success stories or hope that it's going to be ok x

Hi Bunny,

I'm so sorry you have gone through this :( had a miscarriage too at 8 weeks, it was so sad as we were so so happy when found out. I wasn't well with it either so it didn't help. Try to keep positive honey. I know it's hard and you want to jump right back on it but I would recommend taking the hospitals advice and give your body time to recover. Look after yourself so that if/when you catch again you are on top form. We conceived again 5 months after and had a healthy baby girl. I won't say don't worry when you catch again because the reality is you will. Just try to relax as much as you can and discuss your concerns and worries with the Midwife. I found mine very supportive and she was always very reassuring! Good Luck! xx

Hey bunny, I hope to be a success story but I'll not stop worrying for another few weeks. We lost our little girl at 20 weeks a year ago on Sunday. I'm now 32+3 with her little brother or sister. I also have a gorgeous wee boy who is four.
What I will say is that the naivity of pregnancy has gone for me, but I'm trying to enjoy every moment with this bubba too. X

I am very sorry for your loss. I suffered a miscarriage at 10 weeks last September and waited 4 weeks until my next period before trying again. We were extremely lucky that we fell pregnant again that first month and now our daughter is a healthy cheeky 5 months old!!. When you fall pregnant again I expect you will be more anxious than the first time because sadly you know bad things can happen but each stage you pass further than last time will help you to worry less and less. It really makes you appreciate every moment though and personally helps me keep patient when I think of all we have been through to have her here. Good luck with your ttc journey xx
