dont you just hate it when you need the loo and you have people here? i have plumbers in at the mo and im desperate!!!!! i might need to go next door for a coffee.......

Yes I know what you mean!!!!! I tend to go in there and run the taps like I am cleaning or something ( but I have a seperate loo downstairs) Do you have your water off too?? Thats a nightmare when that happens!!!

Go next door if thats the case! lol

I had a guy in last week repairing some tiles in the shower, and was dying for a wee for over an hour!!!

Then DH came in from work and said to the bloke "I'm busting for a p*** mate, do you mind just going out for a minute while I go?". The bloke was fine and just came and stood in the living room with me. But then I would have felt even sillier if I had said that I wanted to go as well, so I waited another 40 minutes for him to go before I could releive myself!!!!

ah bless ya. I hated it when the guys were doing my hall stairs and landing carpet as i was stuck in the front room, couldnt go anywhere and i was absolutely dying for a wee plus i was 7 months pregnant, it took them 3 hrs and i was all alone, however one of them was sooo good looking i didnt really mind :rotfl:

im dreading the new year  were getting a new kitchen and bathroom fitted and they do it both together and i know what Adele is like  luckily my BIL lives across the road so i will be able to go over their and make lunch ect whil all the workers are in here, im just dreading the mess though as ive heard they do make a mess when they nock the pantry down, but it will be worth it when its all done and that way i can get my hall carpet and the rest of teh carpets withought having to worry about it getting reuined with builders

Anyone else had a new kitchen and bathroom done by the council?

oh god i hate that a couple of months ago we had to have our laminate flooring totall redone so all of downstairs but the longe i remembered to get everything for Braydon nappies food etc but forgot about me they were here all day and i need the loo for 3/4 of the day lol

LOL, I had a friend round a few months ago when the NTL people turned up, we just sat and drank coffee and chatted while they worked, one of them used the loo and came in the front room bold as brass and asked who was pregnant (i had stash of HPT's on the bathroom shelf) I said me (thie was just prior to a MC) and he looked at my friend and said "are you the dad?" - shes very large and butch looking but it was obvious shes a girl!!!!!! The cheeky blighter!!!

We're getting a new kitchen in January. Just wish they could find us a house instead!
