Hi

I have been to A and E this am due to suddenly having a heavy bleed, I have soaked through 2 pads and my clothes since this am, it's worse when I walk about. I have a scan booked at 4.45pm but I am so worried, surely heavy red blood is a bad sign, anyone had a positive outcome even after a bleed?

I just can't go through another miscarriage not when I have got this far

So sorry you are going through this Lou, I haven't got any experience to share but wanted to say I'm thinking of you. Got everything crossed all is ok. Its definitely happened to ladies on here and all has been fine, hopefully one of them will be along soon to offer advice xx

I'm so sorry Hun I hope there's a simple reason why this is happening. Let us know, good luck xxxx

I can't say I have had a positive outcome when I have bleed. However I have read stories where people have been ok. We all wish u the best and hope this is not to serious. Xx

I had a huge bleed with a huge clot passed at 11 weeks . Bright red and filling the toilet when I went . Everything appeared to be fine , had my cervix checked , and scan the next day and I'm still here at 19 weeks today . Fingers crossed tightly for a positive outcome xxxx

babydale has survived the bleeding so far! amazing scanbest £45 ever spent, heartbeat was seen and heard and poss area of bleeding between uterus and placenta but cant tell me for sure. going to go for an NHS scan hopefully monday! just resting and praying bleeding stops, it is much less thankfully! got some lovely pics, best bit was hearing the heart so clearly! measuring 8 weeks and 3 days so 2 days ahead of the last scan, so relieved but still worried!!!! xxx

I had bleeding, and passing clots in my second pregnancy at 8 & 9 weeks, and all was well, my baby is now 3 and just fine. Only difference was, that on my scan (it was an internal so don't know what kind of scan yours was) they couldn't actually see a site where the bleed was coming from. Good luck! Fingers crossed all is ok for you too xxx

Oh my god I am so so happy to see this! Over the moon for you, little rascal scaring mummy. Hopefully the bleeding will ease now and you can relax a little xxxx

I scrolled down this post so slowly I was afraid to read the update, I'm honestly so happy it was good news for you xxxx

So happy for you that your little babe is doing well :) xx

Great news, just stay in bed & rest as much as possible x

I had bleeding behind the placenta my first pregnancy but no external bleeding. My doctor recomended rest for 6 weeks. I didn't have to stay in bed but no lifting, housework or sex and to limmit climbing stairs, bending etc. The rest of the pregnancy went well.

Thank you ladies x bleeding stopped overnight so hoping that continues! Yes will see what the EPU say on Monday or Tuesday to see if they think bleed was behind placenta. I am being v well looked after and resting!!! Soooo scary def don't want to go through that again! Work is going to be an issue because it is a very physical job but I have a good team so will work it out. It was when I was walking up a steep hill so I wonder if I popped a haematoma ? Anyway I am much more aware now of how much I do! Thanks for ur messages xx

So pleased to hear the bleeding has stopped and such wonderful news you've heard the heartbeat.

Rest up lovely xx

Glad the bleeding has stopped and your feeling better about it. Make sure you rest and if you need to take a few days of. Don't push your self to much.
