Hi,
My baby is only 2 month. My wife can produce only a few breast milk which is very little for my baby. So I have to use feeder for my baby. But I want to avoid the feeder as it is not good for my baby. Is there any way to increase breast milk of my wife? I am looking for some real user's advice.
Another problem is her weight. During her pregnancy she gained huge weight and now she want to get rid of this extra weight. One of my friend told me about HCG Diet Programs for fast weight loss. Is there any side effect of this product on my baby?

The best way to improve your wife's milk supply is for her to breastfeed more. Milk is produced on demand, so the more your baby feeds, the more milk she will produce. By feeding bottles you lower the demand so her body will produce less milk and it becomes a vicious circle. She may have to spend a few days just feeding, feeding, feeding in order to reestablish her supply so you can support her by bringing her food and drinks, making sure she has everything she needs and reminding her how fantastic she is to be breastfeeding your baby :-)

I have also read that there are some foods and supplements that help boostmilk supply.I don't know how reliable they are, but one of them is apparently oats so I'm eating flapjacks this week - if they don't make a difference then they at least taste good :-)

Fenugreek (spelling??) tablets are supposed to help, also drs can prescribe something to help boost milk supply.
