Im 27, i have Thyroid and PCOS from years and been using BC for regular periods and stopped them when we were ready to have a baby (june 2019). From Sept 2019 we are TTC and i its been 7 months and no luck
I have my cycle length varies from 33-45 days. I still have trouble to find out my fertile window ( i have been tracking my BBT and using clear blue & cheapOPKs). this month when the AF has to show i had spotting for a week and half it was pink initially and brown down the week and seen only when i wipe i had to take a virtual appointment with doctor and she said it might be a miscarriage. I am 5.3 and weighs 179lbs. and i dont know what might me be the issue and im so stressed and worried. Can some one help me out how to track my fertile window in better way and let me know if its my weight thats the show stopper here ? im so worried and I need help

You are doing every you can to track ovulation. BBT is the most accurate way so keep on at that. I definitely recommend the clear blue ov sticks they were pretty accurate for me.
Bear in mind though that 7 months isn’t long. It took me nearly 2 years to conceive. We was about to start ivf and I then fell naturally. It was a miracle. keep on doing what your doing but try not to obsess over it. It’s true what they say. When you stress less it will happen. The month I fell. I stopped tracking ovulation and had sex whenever we wanted instead of like robots. I let all the stress go because I knew we was waiting for our ivf to start. Stay safe and stay healthy. X

Hi,
I have hypothyroidism lost my thyroid and a few parathyroids due to cancer. I also have PCOS.
I had the same type of cycle you described. I went to a fertility specialist and with my first LO I did Clomid and Intercourse with trigger shot. This resulted in my little girl. Now we are trying again but this time we needed to do IUI. It’s basically the same treatment just with them inserting you with the sperm instead of intercourse. With my health issues my body stayed confused and never ovulated. I did everything you are doing and I still needed that trigger shot to boost my hormones to ovulate. Our IUI treatment only cost 500$ out of pocket because our Insurance paid some. Good luck and baby dust ☺️

Hi
how do we know if our insurance covers fertility treatments and when do i have to opt to these treatments
how would i know at home if im ovulating or not
also can i know what is clomid ??

You would need to call your insurance provider and talk with them about what is and isn’t covered.
Clomid is an estrogen modulator a hormone treatment to help stimulate your follicles to mature for ovulation the trigger shot ovidrel is given to make your ovaries ovulate they don’t really use Clomid much anymore. they use letrozole and menopur with the ovidrel.
Ultrasounds and blood work are monitored so they can measure your folic sizes so you know when to get the trigger shot. Blood work is monitored so they make sure your hormones are where they should be for pregnancy.
