Dear ladies,

Yes ! After trying for all these months for our 3d , we have decided to go for IVF. Various reasons. We have conceived our 2 gorgeous girls naturally but we really feel that with being 41 and 52 and considering how long it took us to conceive our 2nd baby, our best bet is to go for IVF now if we want our 2nd and 3d to have it too big of an age gap.
With that in mind, ladies please could you recommend IVF clinic in surrey ( London preferably but anywhere else would do , just want to go to the best there is ).
Thank you in advance for any recommendations

IVF hammersmith were fab for me. Lots of clinics wouldn't even have considered taking me on as I have high FSH and low amh. I am not a good candidate for their success rates. Hammersmith will do what they can anyway, they put me on a very aggressive protocol and it worked :) all treatment there was faultless in our experience. Might be a bit far from Surrey though as lots of trips needed. Just thought was worth noting if others read for recommendations too.
Have you had any bloods done to check hormone levels? If not, I think a hormone profile whilst you wait to find clinic would be a good idea as you can get that on the NHS. It all gets very expensive when you go private, we were shocked with some of it, totally worth it though xx

I'm also interested in hearing other people's experiences as we are only entitled to one round of IVF on the NHS so may be choosing our own clinic after that if things don't go well for us.

I would be particularly interested to hear any thoughts on maximum distance from home that you would be prepared to consider before selecting a clinic?
