Need a healthy food receipe

Hiya ladies!!

My friend is coming for dinner tonight :cheer: but she is on a silly diet (she is down to the final to be on Shipwrecked 2008 and wants a fab bikini bod!!)

What can I make her?!?!?! She is not eating pasta at all.

Help!!
 
huge, massive, ginormous gorgeous mixed salad with either lean chicken, slow roasted with herbs and whole garlic cloves or mixed beans if she's veggie. Then you can add bread, jacket potatoes etc for you if you like.

fat free dressing (go buy one - its far easier than trying to make a fat free one yourself :roll: )

fresh berries with virtually fat free fromage frais and add a meringue nest for yourself (and her if she's any sense :wink: )
 
oooo!!! sounds good!!

I was thinking a chicken and roast veggie salad of some sort with a pesto.
 
sounds good too - I love pesto - I could eat it with anything

In fact i have decided that pesto will be my craving when pregnant :rotfl:
 
Either as a starter or as a main meal, for which it works perfectly and is very filling, you could serve gazpacho soup.

It's easy- just shove it all in a blender/food processor.

You could leave the olive oil out of your friend's portion and just add it to yours at the end if you really wanted.

You personally could have some scrumptious bread with it (this is what my boyf and I did last night, he had bread and I'm on a diet so I didn't. It's still scrumptious without.)

Don't worry about having to chill it for as long as the recipes say, if you don't have time. Just a while in the fridge or freezer will do. The weather doesn't have to be warm to eat this, as it has hot pepper sauce in. But then again, I bet it would be nice in the rare event you get sun, too

Have a look on the weight watchers website.....there's loads of healthy recepies on there.
 
I got chicken to grill, peppers, tomatoes, butternut squash, courgettes and onions to roast and some cous cous

Also got strawberries and raspberries and natuarl yoghurt for pud.... Sound ok?

Yummm... I've roasted the veg with some balsamic vinigar on them and they are goooood!!
 
I will - although my friend will prob think I am mad!! :lol:
