roughly how many did u take with u when u went in for labour. how many did u put in the labour bag?

you should only need 1 in your labour bag and i took a full pack in my hospital bag

i had 0 in my labour bag because OH lifted the wrong bag for bringing into the labour room :wall: i had a pack up the stairs waiting though :) but no real need as our hospital had loads placed everywhere to use free :)

Planning a homebirth but have packed a labour bag just incase. I have packed 4 nappies. DH can pop home and get more if needed although I'd hope to be in and out if I do have to go in - we live a 2 minute walk from the hospital though, I'd have packed a dozen or so if we lived a fair distance.

My hospital provided the first nappy free for when he was born then I took a full pack of Pampers Newborn with me. They provided cotton wool and changing mats/sheets so didnt have to worry about that.

Straight after he was born the midwife asked me whether I eanted a nappy on him, to which I said yes! After that, never saw a nappy so was a good job we'd brought a pack with us. We used Pampers newborn. We also needed our own cotton wool for changing.

I had a couple in my labour bag and then a pack for the ward..We ended up been in 3 days so was glad to have them D was changed every 3 hours when he was born. We were also given a nappy when he was born and a pack of about 10 balls of cotton wool after that i used my own

I took a pack of newborn nappies but you won't actually use that many if you don't have to stay in and the hospital actually gave me quite a few nappies. I just thought it was better to be on the safe side and take a pack incase I had to stay in (I ended up staying in for 6 days). I had all of my stuff in one bag but if you have a seperate labour bag just put a couple in there.

The first one the hospital provided, but I'd been given a New Baby pack from Toys R Us, so I took that pack in and used those.

I was in for 2 and a half days after an emergency C-Section so needed a fair few.
