Sooo... dh and I are both brazilian, so we want portuguese names for our girls.
We already have a baby boy named Júlio Manoel.

Now we have a little list of girl names, that we already liked when I was pregnant with our first child, before I found out it was a boy.
Now everybody in my family has a middle name as well and so does my son, so I want the girls to have two names as well.

I'll write down the names we liked and would love to hear which combinations you'd like :)

Amanda, Nathália (these two are our favorites as of right now), Laís (the "i" ist stressed like in "luisa"), Laisa (same here), Sophia, Iara (brazilian spelling of "yara"), Emilia (ex boyfriend's name is emilio, though :D)

we were thinking about Amanda Laisa and Nathália Sophia...what do you think?
If you have any other portuguese/spanish name suggestion i'd love to hear them!

Hi,
I like Nathália and Sophia as first names, Amanda seems more of an English sounding name to me.
How about Nathália Emilia and Sophia Laisa? x

Love the name Amanda (as that's my name haha), but it is quite different to your son's style of name.
However, they're both lovely names!

Just read pin badges' post and I love her two suggestions xx

ive always loved emilia and would have had it but its too close to a family member for us

i also love Nathália

thx for your advice ladies :) I know it doesn't really seem like it, but Amanda is a pretty common name here in Brazil too, they just pronounce it a little differently, so it doesnt really sound very English anymore haha :p Amanda is my husband's first choice and at first i wasn't really sure about it, but now I've started to really love that name...

I loove Emilia too, but my ex boyfriend's name is Emilio.... that'd probably be a little weird to name my daughter Emilia then, wouldn't it?

How about Laisa Sophia and Liara Nathália?

All your names are gorgeous btw! any of them will work so well. Fair play to you having so many to choose from :)

Just make sure you give them equal names! I met a twin called Danielle whose sister was called Dominique. Danielle would have been Claire but for the midwife who explained to the mother that you can't call one twin Dominique and the other Claire!

Made me laugh out loud when she told me that story. Midwife probably did have a point.
