My surname is Crossley. OH is adamant first names can't end in a 'y' or 'ie' because there'd be too many 'i' sounds in the name. What does everyone else think about this? Oh and nothing beginning with a 'C'. OH's first name is Christopher and with Crossley for a surname, I get where he's coming from but ruling out a lot of nice names :/ xxx

I think Charlie Crossley sounds fine! I've gone through lots of ie and y names in my head, and they all sound fine to me.

I think Chloe is a step too far though as that sounds like a tongue-twister! Charlie would be OK if everyman and his dog didn't choose it. xxx

It was the first C name that came into my head that also ended with ie lol :)

What are the names of your older boys dotty?

My cousins are crossleys and their names are holly and Lucy. I think it sounds fine!

Tapatalking :-D Can't see tickers...

I have a similar issue - we like Lewis but being a David I think there's too many is's :)
