Hi, I've just put this list into Olive's thread (although actually I've just altered it slightly as I often do depending on my mood) but thought I would ask if there were any particular favourites amongst the rest of you from my list? We havent finally decided, in fact I think we should take a few options into the delivery room in case the name just doesnt fit. So all feedback is enjoyed! thanx

Yeah, me too, but DH not so keen. I am trying to win him round to Rory but having absolutely no sucess. I thought he'd love it because he's Irish, but he likes Toby and Samuel best. the list is a hodge podge of both our favourites. There are actually very few we both agree on in the list, but we are both too stubborn to let the other person totally rule out the ones we like.

Arthur, Samuel and Aiden I really love Arthur (Artie for short) but my OH think's it's too old fashioned. We're arguing over names and I'm not even pregnant yet xx

Arthur- maybe if shortened to Arty?
Jasper - have a few friends with pets called Jasper so wouldn't personally, but I like it!
Samuel - don't mind it
Theo - my favorite on the list!

Hugo - don't like, sorry again!
Aidan - don't mind

Think it's good to have a few options so you can decide on the day, that's what we plan to do too.

Well he's put his foot down against Rory, Arthur and Peter. And I've put my foot down on Toby and Hugo (only cos i already know people named this and wouldnt want them to think it was after them) So the list is getting shorter!

I quite like Bertie, but hate Bertram Bertie can always be shortened to Bert with age or start off with Albert? Then he could be Al too if he wanted.

Arthur (Or Archie instead... Archibald?)

Well I have a Devon Rory, so I love Rory , but OH didn't like it as first name, so I got it as a middle name!! It's a cheeky name. I have a Toby, who we call Tobe, so I'm biased there too.

My kids and I all love Athurian legends, so love that one really too

Peta for a girl was on my list as really not well used nowadays, so like Peter too , but really not a lover once shortened to Pete.

Hugo is unusual , what about Hugh, that's just as lovely if Hugo is ruled out?
