My sorry story

Hello everyone,

I have been lurking on this board for the last few weeks and the information has been incredible. So.. I thought it was time I dropped in and said hi. I have introduced myself briefly in the Introduce Yourself section but thought it appropriate to drop in here too.

I am 9 weeks and 3 days pregnant and I am single

Single and 32 years old, I didn't think this would happen. It isn't the easiest of times but I knew instantly that I couldn't not go through with it. I have previously been pregnant whilst in a stable relationship and desperate for children. Unfortunately, this ended in miscarriage and after 2 years of trying afterwards, the stress kind of broke us up

Now, after the first bit of fruity stuff in 6 months, it happens!! I take this as being fate. Anyway, just wanted to say hello. I will be contributing a lot more now and hope to spend the next 7 ish months in all your company.

ooooooo u'll be fine and ur not alone, im single also and i already have a son who ive raised on my own for 4 years and now im expecting number 2, also doing it alone without the father, scary but hey at least u wont have anyone to answer to and less stress, just keep ur friends round u u'll be fine

Thanks so much everyone for the warm welcome... also nice to know I am not the only single one.

My BIG challenge is telling my parents. They will be so so shocked. Oh dear...

Once I've done that I can start to enjoy this pregnancy.
