My sister gave birth to her baby girl (Roxanna Catherine Niamh) last night. She had her at home and had a really scary time because the shoulders got stuck and the midwives had to pull her out - not surprising as she weighed 10lb, had a head circumference of 38cm and a shoulder circumference of 40cm!!!
Oh and the gas & air ran out 15 minutes before baby was born, so she ended up doing the most painful bit with no pain relief at all.
She's a bit squashed but an absolute treasure and I'm sooo in love with my new niece! Welcome to the world Roxy.
