My SIL

We just had my SIL visiting us from Rome over the weekend and it was great. It was her first time staying with us in London and my husband was really excited to host her and her BF.

Anyways after she yesterday I updated my facebook with a message that said 'Has an empty house until Tuesday'

So my husband wrote a comment saying we would have 'two peaceful nights' and she wrote a snarky message in italian aimed at my husband saying ' well thanks, I did not think it was any trouble.'

Anyways now my husband feels bad that she misinterpreted the original message, and I feel like she has attacked my husband a little bit. She has a reputation about being difficult to get along with... and yo be honest she has no idea what our life has been like for the past 3 months, no mention what it will be like when the baby comes.

Our lives have been non-stop

In July we went to Canada for almost 3 weeks, then we came back and went to Spain for 4 days. Then the next week we went to Edinburgh for 3 days - came home and went to France for 2 weeks, then my best friend came for 10 days and then she came for the weekend- and now my mom is coming tomorrow for 4 weeks - and the impending arrival of the baby, of course. Then my husband's parents will come for 2 weeks. And then we
go to Florida for almost a month. Then we will go to Toulouse, France for 5 weeks in January, and then I will go to Canada for 5 weeks in February -

So yeah non stop! So an empty house does equal peace and quiet.

Erg I want to send her a message as it is really bothering me, probably more than it bothers my husband

oh god that is one hectic lifestyle!!! oh i wouldnt worry too much about it to be honest, you could just say it wasnt meant to come across like that?? x

Yes, you are right. I think it is just my hormones getting the best of me My husband laughed when i told him how much it bothered me.. and said that it was nothing, just a misunderstanding.
Thanks for letting me vent though
