my poor poor baby!

Anoushka my St Bernard has to go to the vet to have her dew claws removed tomorrow as she has ripped one while out in the garden, we have just about managed to stop the bleeding and she is leaving it alone but it is nasty and she has broken the bone that holds it on so they are both coming off, i am so worried as big dogs dont do so well under aneasthetic and a friend of mine lost hers on the table having his bits chopped.
Please have a little thought for her while you are busy in your day.

Oh no my greyhound pulled off one of his claws in the garden and it bleed for ages so he had his off. Called him stumpy for ages...its only just growning back Poor baby, lots of cuddles and treats

once they are removed they better not grow back

My greyhound had her dewclaw removed in January, and no it doesnt grow back, they are so nasty when they catch them so we had it removed before she did it herself.
