Since they started, I've always had problems. I took the pill for 15 years and each time I tried to come off it, I would end up fainting and in agony.
Just as I met my OH, I had a routine ultrasound on my liver for another complaint, and they discovered an 'adenoma' ( a benign tumour) which is linked to long term pill use. Needless to say I had to stop the pill.

Luckily we were getting hitched and TTC and it didn't take long. The docs always told me that after children my periods would settle down.

Between Molly and Aimèe I only had one period, then between Aimèe and Sam I always suffered with pain for one day a month, but it was bearable.

Since Sam it's been getting worse and worse. I am in absolute AGONY for twenty four hours. It's not just the period pains, I get banging headaches, back pain and cramps in my legs. I'm absolutely no use to anybody for a full 24hrs. I get dizzy whenever I stand up and I feel wretched, like I've got heavy flu or something.

I'm thinking of going back to the gyn and asking for this Mirena coil which stops your periods. Right now I'd have them whip all my bits out, anything to make it stop......

Sorry this is so long. Any ideas anybody?

I'm sorry I can't help but didn't want to read and run!

I find Cuprofen works great for back and head aches that are very painful, but I would say see your GP, I do hope they can do something for you, it sounds quite an ordeal you are going through with it
