Periods after birth

Hi

I had my 1st proper period about 6 weeks after having Nathan and lasted my normal 7 days.

I was just wondering how long it takes after giving birth for your periods to get back to normal?

I just thought they would start coming regular again but I was due on two days ago and still no sign and I was always regular before I got PG.

i had my first period after 7weeks, then i went straight on the pill so they are every 4weeks now

Ah I guess my periods are just goin to be irregular for a while

I had my first AF 10 weeks postpartum. My cycles have been so irregular, anywhere from 29-38 days long, normally the mid-30's.

My first AF was 8 weeks after Jamie was born & i'm coming to the end of my second. I was regular as clockwork before but was a week late for this one. As far as I know it can take a fair while before things settle down again or it may have changed your cycle for good?
